This Privacy Policy describes how SpeedPix ("we", "us") handles information when you install or use our Shopify application (the "App"). The App helps merchants optimize product images connected to a Shopify store. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• Shopify account and store identifiers (for example shop domain), and data made available to the App through Shopify’s APIs after you authorize the App, such as product and media metadata needed to list and update images.
• Product image files and related technical data (for example file size or dimensions) when you run optimization, preview, apply, or rollback flows.
• Limited technical and operational data such as request timestamps, error logs, and security signals to run, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide the App’s core features (fetching images from Shopify, optimizing them, applying updates back to Shopify when you confirm, and supporting rollback), to maintain reliability and security, to troubleshoot issues you report, and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and subprocessors

We may share data only as needed to operate the App:

• With Shopify and through Shopify’s platform, as required to install the App, authenticate requests, and read or write store data you choose to change.
• With infrastructure and service providers that host the App, store backups, or provide compression, storage, delivery, monitoring, or similar processing under contractual obligations.
• When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer (for example a merger) subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the App, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Image content processed for optimization is handled according to operational needs (including temporary processing) and is not kept longer than necessary for the service you requested.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk in line with the nature of the service.

Your choices and rights

You may uninstall the App from your Shopify admin at any time, which stops future data access through the App subject to Shopify’s platform behavior. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to object or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than where your store is located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children
